Die Cryptowährung Siacoin verwendet üblicherweise das Kürzel 'SC' und ist seit dem Jahr 2015 unterwegs (seit etwa 8 Jahren). Sie kann von Minern geschürft werden und basiert auf dem Algorithmus Blake2b. Dabei wurden vor Veröffentlichung keine Einheiten geschürft (Premine). Siacoin ist ein OpenSource Projekt.
